Augusta University researchers developing portable ultrasound machine

Upset with the fact that portable ultrasound machines cost upward of $200,000, a pair of Augusta University researchers have been working to develop their own version with a much lower price-tag.  The machines, which would be used, (at first) to diagnose concussions on the sidelines of football games, could be very useful as fans and players alike raise concern over the fallout of dangerous head injuries on the gridiron.  For Drs.
